Hi everyone

This is my little Courier van, I chose this as it is the perfect size for my business requirements, originally looking at Caddy vans, all the ones I looked at were damaged and just not in a clean condition.

I saw this advertised at my local Evans Halshaw (Hull) and went for a viewing and test drive, it's the 'Trend' model with the 1.6L engine which I hear is rarer than the 1.5, no idea if that's true.

Absolutely delighted with the van, drives just like a car 👍👍

Modifications so far:

• 18" Team Dynamics 'Imola' alloys

• lowered 45mm

• Tinted windows (Light)

• Tinted side and rear indicators

• 'Team Heko' wind reflectors

• Upgraded LED daytime running lights

• Fiesta ST interior foot pedals

• Black gel overlays on Ford badges

• Chrome door latch covers

===============

Tons of things yet to be done, including full colour coding which is up next, along with fitting a front lower spoiler from an ST once the bumper has been painted.

Here is the van at the dealers:

Once home the first thing I did was tint the side and rear clear lenses along with upper brake light:

I then fitted chrome door latch covers which I think is a nice touch:

The windows were tinted, wind deflectors etc were fitted then I recently added the alloys and a good friend dropped the suspension for me. I spent hours and hours researching what suspension would fit perfect, there really isn't a lot on the net about these vans so I've had to put some hours in to find out the info.

Here is the van as it currently stands today, I've blanked out the rear sign writing as I'm sure this would be in the rules of the forum?

liking what you have so far and I agree with the wheels suiting the van. once you get the colour coding done that will make a big difference too. like the tinted indicators.

I think the wheels would be even in gunmetal grey /anthracite colour .back looks so much like vw caddy van which is awesome when done up.

Thanks very much, the colour coding has started, the skirts have been painted today so I'll have photos up tomorrow of those.

very smart! - I must ask, where did you get the chrome latch covers from?

Hi, I just came across them on eBay one day, it said it was the last pair so quickly snapped them up but I bet there's more on there.

Looking great , Just because its a work van doesn`t mean you can`t do them up.

Looking forward to seeing the progress with the colour coding and skirt additions.

Thank you all for the positive comments 🤗 it's a great feeling when others like what your doing.

So phase one of the colour coding has been completed, the skirts were removed from the van and I've spent two days on them to get them perfect, literally just fitted back on, I can already see the difference full colour coding is going to make so really looking forward to getting the rest done.

Before they were fitted back on, all screws and clips were cleaned as was the underside of the sill so it is immaculate under there now 🤗

Excuse how dirty the van is...thats tomorrow's job.

looking good and once the bumpers are colour coded it will make a heck of a difference.

Are you having the bump strips on the doors colour coded as well? from the pics it looks like it has colour coded mirror caps already if not I would get them done too.

looks like its coming along great and make a change to see a van getting a bit of customizing done to it

Yes the mirrors and door handles are colour coded from factory on the Trend model so at least I don't have them to do, yes the bump strips are being done as is the rear bumper and complete front bumper, the grills and fog light surrounds are going gloss black to match the ST splitter I have.

I offered the splitter up yesterday and it's surprisingly a snug fit, it's one off the Fiesta ST, I bought it thinking id have to do some work on it but luckily non at all 😊

Wow!!! So good to see a Ford van modded instead of the usual VW's that are everywhere

I agree, so so pleased I went with the Courier now, if I'd gone for a Caddy I'd have just blended into the crowd, not much you can do to them that hasn't been done.
