so....on a website looking at replacing bulbs & it asks the question when selecting my version of Ford,

Ford focus (MK 2 HID) 2007 - 2011 or,

Ford Focus (MK 2) 2004 - 2011,

how do I find out what I have & whats the difference........thx

I'm almost positive that the HID headlight's were only fitted to the Titanium and ST models, just pop your headlight out and remove the bulb, if it's not HID it's probably an H7 bulb.

If you have a headlight height adjustment wheel on the headlight switch unit then it is non HID (unless fitted as an aftermarket mod).
Factory fitted HID lights are self levelling so don't need a height adjuster.

The difference in H8 & H11 is the spacing of the location lugs you will find that you fog lights are H11 you can get H11 to fit but it is a pain as you need to twist one of the lugs

You dipped beam bulb is H7 as mentioned by Chris

ok.........so I read somewhere that titanium & poss st (cant remember) stated front fogs use h11, went on

amazon & they said h11 will fit.....so took a chance  & .........yes lovely jubbly, easier job (for a novice) than

I expected.......now wheres that bulb list lmao....:yahoo:

watch out any1 on the back lanes of north Suffolk after dark.......:biggrin:

very rewarding evening as I just fitted 2 front climair deflectors......
