Featured Replies

I Have a tomtom 720 and use the memory card to listen to music through the aux plug into the sony system. this is great untill i plug in the 12v power cable then it whistles. Ive pluged it in outher fords and it still whistles the tomtom has been for repair and today it has been exchanged and it still whistles now i dont know what to do do i need some kind of suppression system? :(

Hi and welcome to FOC

It sounds like interferance of the sort which you get if you run a power cable and phono cable too close on an amplifier set up. Have you tried moving the wires a little further apart and seeing if it makes any different at all?
