rabbit64
Hey there...new to forum and wanted to pick your brains... Just purchased a 2001 3.0 V6 DLX Maverick, stunning inside, unmarked leather interior and really straight bodywork, 68k miles with f,.s,h, she is a beauty to drive and pulls like a train. Had my local garage look her over today and there appears to be a fair amount of surface corrosion in the lower cills, don't mind admitting after a nightmare journey to collect her I didn't do my homework here, the car has been so well looked after in every other way and I should have made the usual checks i guess. The mot is due in October and the garage will do a thorough inspection then, I am looking for a permanent solution rather than a patch up job, kind of attached to her already, any suggestions greatly appreciated....Thanks Paul
