TitXlover
Noticed today my passenger side mirror was not folding back when locking the car. Seen a few comments on line, seems fairly common fault? Also can't adjust from in car, presume it may be some sort of disconnect? Anyone had any experience of this and any difficulty getting fixed under warranty? Mine has a few months of warranty left, just a pain having to leave with them while they sort it. Hopefully.

TitXlover
No. Thanks, would that only affect 1 mirror?Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
TitXlover
Went to look at the car this morning, to check fuses and when I locked it up the mirror retracted? The mirror adjustment however appears not to be working on the passenger side, however. But I can live with that for now as once set it's not usually moved. Whatever it is it can't be the fuse anyway. Will get the dealer to check it on next service if it stays as it is.Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
TitXlover
Reported to the dealer as service is due, following day started working normally?Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Phil21185
Of course it did... Now you've told them about it there is no chance it'll do it. I think that's how I'm gonna repair all my cars in future, just report the problem to the dealer so it stops doing it
TitXlover
service done today, mirror checked as requested. No problems with connections or wiring found, but they have ordered a new motor. No stock or idea when it will be available, but should be sorted when it arrives. Quite happy with that.Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

FatHead1979
Might as well get them to pay for it than wait 6 months and have to pay for it yourself.
