Hello

I own a 1965 series 2a Landrover with a Capri 3 litre V6.

We have changed all the gaskets ( 1 was ripped) and stripped the carbs down and cleaned them out.

We found sand in the main jets and cleaned it out. The engine now ticks over at 950 revs and not 2000!, but there is still some coughing, spluttering and it back fires....

Anyone any ideas on what to do next??
