Hi hoping someone has done this or knows how this fits as there is no RCA inputs. Is it a case of cutting in existing speaker wires?

You would needvsomething like this to get sound from your headunit. Also you will need direct live feed from battery with fuse. & earth from say your seat bolt.

Could I use that rca converter with the pioneer amp/sub? Is it easy to wire up?

I believe so. A little know how to solder. & where to route the feed from. The kit will or should give you instructions.

Btw as well as the live & earth you also their is another wire which is like a remote so when you switch car & radio it comes on. & dont drain battery

No worries, i also upgraded my stock Speakers & tweeters to fusion components but running the ford sony dab 6cd unit. You would need to wire to rear Speakers.
Sorry i couldnt explain detailly as did this few years ago.
