Phil21185 Posted October 14, 2017 Share Posted October 14, 2017 64 is right on the cusp of mk3 and mk3.5 (facelift) but I think is mk3.5. some places refer to these as mk5 and mk6 if they include facelift versions as separate iterations. If you have a black triangular sail either side of the grille in the front bumper, it's a mk3. If it's a one piece grille (assuming your car isn't an ST) it's a mk3.5. Another obvious difference is the rear lights. The mk3 clusters are taller than the mk3.5.
