I need to replace my drivers side wing mirror, but the connector is behind the door panel. I have seen this post with pictures, but it is not clear how to get the door handle cover off without damage. No way to get a screw driver behind it from the top, and does not want to pop off from the bottom either..
Does anyone have any experiance with this?

give it a real good pull, theres always a good chance that some of the clips will snap when taking a door panel off anyway, you should be able to buy more quite cheaply
