Is speaker level input the same thing?

Yes all it does is allow you to tap into the factory speaker wiring

yes i had one on mine till i took it out last week, you have to splice the wires on the plug on the back with connector blocks, easy enough to do, dont run the power cable and the audio cables along the same door as it will interfere, i ran my rower from battery through the passenger side, then my audio wires from unit, through the drivers side.

Just out of curiosity but how would you wire a sub for a mk6.5 fiesta? My dad has a small under seat sub which he took out his car. For some reason the remote stopped working which hopefully would be sorted by looking at the wiring. Just have to find the remote as it's been misplaced somewhere.

Same way mate. Just hook into speaker wire. Then have a remote wire there Along with the power wire. Then also plug in the audio cables
