Posted November 9, 2017 Share Posted November 9, 2017 Matthews. 0 Posted 18 minutes ago i brought a new focus st 2017 and I could hear a knocking when idling. my friend who is a mechanic heard it and said it's not normal and sounds like bottom end or oil pump. i took it back to smc and after investigation they said it needs a new engine but I refused this and demand a new car. now I have picked up my new focus st 2017 again I am experiencing the same noise again. i showed the mechanic and manager on that day and they just said see how you get on. the mechanic called me and said he tested 2 other st next to Escher other and they make the same noise. it seems to get worse once warmed up.
