DSC_4554.thumb.JPG.b7557235741153870be1d84773f78835.JPG

got it a year and half ago with 12k on the clock, now getting close to 26k sailed through two mots and has only needed a set of front tyres

when i got it i cleaned it to within an inch of its life, clay bar, full wheel off clean type of job. and have pretty much just been keeping on top of that over the time ive had it

the only mods done to it so far are a colour coded ST diffuser and a debadge

DSC_5092.JPG.0cbae4c7a1d70c41b9051e5c99312185.JPG

and that brings us up to today, did the vinyl number plate thingy, had to cheat a little bit, doing it myself meant the full width wasnt working. its a tad rough around the edges, but you have to get close to notice

Doesn't look bad. Could look at upgrading the lights.

cheers buddy, im not too fussed about major spending on it, i like it how it is and have other things to pour my money into. would love to do the indicator bulbs. but yeah subtle little touches here and there, gunna try and get a set of deflectors and would love a set of colour coded eyebrows at some point

If you want bright indicators with built-in resistors try autobeams premium indicators. I have them on my fiesta and they give out a bright intense amber light. Could smarten up your sidelights and number plate lights to some nice white LEDs.

Looks great. Love how clean your wheels look, and the debadge looks better to me.

My only suggestion would be to change the aerial for one of the low profile ones (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Richbrook-Logo-Profile-Roof-Aerial/dp/B004AVWX46/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1511385213&sr=8-2&keywords=fiesta+aerial), although be aware that some of the reviews claim that the FM reception isn't as good (It's not something I noticed personally, but I rarely listen to the radio)

Need to do that on my fiestas wheels. Would use wheel cleaner and fallout remover along with a clay bar. Sealants could use a wheel sealant.

Are you talking about the reason why pictures dont display on 80% of topics..?

Link to comment

yes, photobucket want you to pay $500 a year to use them

and has broken the internet. yes there are ways to see them, but its a faff. and yes you can re-upload. but over the past decade or so ive posted thousands of pictures on hundreds of forums. and I and everyone else, wont be updating them

Yeah for me it's the cold weather plus becoming busy with my studies. Have to see though if the car will go in the garage then as have a bit of work to do on it.

Do the vents stick on or do you have to drill through the bonnet? Also like the wind deflectors but don't know about getting them

the vents are stick on.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Focus-RS-ST-Style-Decorative-Bonnet-vent-No-Cutting-Required-Universal-Black/222750496164?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

they dont come with anything to fix them on though, and the foam pads i bought are thin, had to layer them up so spent another 5 quid on sticky foam pads from Halfords. and as you can see, the right one isnt straight :( take more time than i did if you get them

and the deflectors

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Heko-FORD-FIESTA-mk7-3-doors-2008-2017-2-pc-Wind-Deflectors-Tinted/302161532879?fits=Model%3AFiesta&epid=1405399387&hash=item465a3b17cf:g:KywAAOSwv9FXg6CF

but they are for the mk7. just eBay mk6 heko windeflectors. sort by the cheapest and buy from the one thats sold the most to make sure they are genuine

Why not just fit some proper vents? This easy.

for many many reasons and id rather not have my thread turned into a vent argument

I was simply asking why you chose to stick them on instead of cutting them in.  It was a reasonable question, politely put - nobody is starting an argument

Sorry but I'm used to the Facebook group that goes mental at the mere thought of stick ons

But for me the main reason was having to locate a bonnet when this goes back. It's either expense or hassle doing it yourself

For the sake of a small aesthetic mod its just not worth it. I'd rather put that bit extra towards something else

Indeed!  That's why I don't do Facebook or other social media - its full of chumps.
