Hey guys, just some advice I'm after.

Is there much difference in the ECU's between a 1.8 TDCI mondeo and the 2012 titanium X sport. Looking at Buying a Bluefin ECU remap second hand, just wondering about the dramas that can come with it?

Cheers,

Tom

As far as I know, you won't be able to use a map for a 2.0 or 2.2 diesel on your 1.8...you can probably use the handset and then buy a map for your 1.8 at a reduced price.

New is not that expensive and very worthwhile, we'll certainly on a 2ltr Tdci, talk to superchips themselves very helpful

Agree 100%, even a map for a slightly different variant of an engine than the one it's been applied to could be enough to stop it running, let alone an entirely unrelated engine.
