First Ford Since 1969!

Hi folks, I'm Richard from Northumberland & just purchased my first Ford for 48 years! For the oldies out there, the last one was a Corsair.

My new one is a lovely Fiesta ST-3 in white with some nice cosmetic accessories & less than 10,000 miles on the clock.

My part-ex, believe it or not, was a 1,8TFSI Audi TT S-Line. Sadly, I needed more passenger space & the Fiesta satisfies that as well as my ex-racer experience.

Choices were: JCW Mini, RenaultSport Clio & Peugot 208GTI. The Fiesta is slightly the slowest but simply the best

Nice choice and welcome.

Wouldn't mind a fiesta st-3 in the future myself [emoji106]

Thanks mate. If you test drive one, you'll be hooked, especially if you're a serious driver. Since my initial post, I've travelled to Mountune for some upgrades: MP215, cat back exhaust, high flow induction hose, billet quick shift, Mountune gear knob & gear shift gaiter, Mountune side splash & decorations.

So now it drives, performs, sounds & looks even better. See the pics below.

IMHO a better option to buy an ST3 & upgrade rather than getting an ST200. More fun to do & cheaper as well.

Have a good weekend.

Yeah I'm considering the new fiesta st 3 too for my next car depending how it looks, feels and most importantly how it drives! Only had my car 2 months so far so 7 months to go before then.

Loving the progress [emoji106]

Hi Richard, back in the day Corsairs only looked like Corsairs, as a budding petrolhead I  could recognise most cars on the road then from some distance, often by sound alone!.

No doubt about it, modern cars are better in every dynamic than old ones, but I can't tell most of them apart now. Still, I hope you enjoy your Fiesta.

Roger.
