Fitting a clear high level brake light to a ST2

Just thought I would post this quick guide to fitting a mod which anyone who can handle a screwdriver can complete.

First here's the existing brake light that we all know well

I bought my new clear lens light off eBay, here's the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121249361214?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 for a relatively reasonable £31 compared to the £27 a standard one costs. And here's confirmation that its a genuine Ford part

So fitting is very easy. Two torx screws one at either end of the light have to be unscrewed. Then the old fitting comes away from from the spoiler. Unplug the electric connector and the hose for the rear washer jet

Fitting the new clear brake is just the reverse of removal, and here's the result

A very easy job and I think this is looks lots better than the standard red light.
