Went To Fix My Handbrake Ended Up Buying A New Fiesta!

picking up my new 60 plate fiesta on monday ! had countless problems with my current one from handbrake been broke since i bought it NEW just over a year and a half ago to both handles falling off ! was fed up of constantly being down at my dealership, been down there so much they know me by name, so i got a good deal to get put in a bran new 1 so i thought may aswell go for it as i do love the fiesta !!

this happened to anyone else ?

Horrible Noise Coming From Drum Brake !!

last night noticed a very strange noise coming from my back left wheel, which kept getting louder ! sounded like something was majorly loose in the suspension or something ! but i removed my alloy and and turned my drum break round in the motion of the wheel and the noise is coming from inside it !! sounds more like a scraping noise, surely break pads havnt went with doing just under 20 000 miles ?

also noticed when my hand break is on full the drum brake still moves round ? cant understand this, i thot its ment to stop turing in order to lock the back wheels ?

any help would be much appreciated

bought my car back in march last year with 3 miles on it, just noticed tonight ive managed to put 19,000 miles onit in that time !!

anyone else near that :unsure:

just put my alloys from the fiesta on gumtree for £250, now starting to think i may have set the price a bit high ! there 195/50 r15 in mint condition bar 2 scratches and needs 1 tyre, think that price is about right ?

Labour Charge Cost More Than Springs, What A Joke !

was in my local dealership today asking for pricing to get my car lower, as it still has 2 years on the warrenty i was advised to do it threw them. So i got a price for springs £322, which i thought was good for ford prices, but then the guy said its a 4 and a half hour job and said it would cost £370 labour, i near enough fainted ! So he said i HAVE to get it fitted with them, if i buy the springs and get it fitted somewhere else then my warrenty would be void ! so i just left it at that and spoke to 1 of the sales men and he said in vauxhall when people bought parts from them, as long as it got fitted at a VAT registered garage then all would be fine and warrenty would not be affected. Any idea if Ford are trying to rip me off or could i get them fitted else where ?
