Did you make sure its oil resistant or you might end up redoing it in a few weeks time. Make sure you clean the area thoroughly as well.

#526395 Windscreen Chip :(

No heated debate here as my mother in law works for the insurance company I'm with and I've just gone through a windscreen replacement. I gave up that nonsense when I left school eons ago!

Don't judge repairs on what you might have seen. Generally speaking, most of the replacement fitters aren't very good at repairing damaged windscreens.
Also, replacing the windscreen could, potentially, open another can of worms; will the glass be a genuine Ford branded windscreen? And who will be fitting it? Will he be up to the job?
(Mods: links are not commercial)

Had my windscreen replaced by 'gavin' and couldn't fault the guy, windscreen put in and everything (interior light, heated screen, mirror) all work as they should, but you are correct that it isn't and won't be a genuine branded Ford screen. If you go through your insurance you'll have a fight on your hands to get a Ford branded screen. My replacement screen is a Pilkinton screen. Pilkinton supply ford and other manufacturers with screens so it's a 'like for like'.

Have a look here for the throttle body position....don't remove the throttle body, do it in situe - (try to twist the hose pipe off or you'll need to take the steel clip off and use a jubilee clip to refit it - you can also refit the pipe using a plastic cable tie if need be)

Could also be a dirty throttle body, remove the rubber pipe from it and see if it's dirty, if so clean it gently and lightly oil the butterfly flap spindle.

I thought similar, the man broke free from a police officer who had a hold of him and 'made a run for it' so as far as I see it she was helping the officer recapture him.

Could be coil pack on its way out along with plugs and leads, check the leads resistance with a multimeter , if you don't get any reading using a meter then they're shot. ( I had a barely noticeable misfire on my fiesta that bugged me for over a year, turned out one lead had packed in! )
