Thanks mate. this remap sounds very good, yeah it is very punchy off the mark, very easy to light tyres up in 1st n 2nd. It'll be good to see your results as i could be very tempted with getting mine remapped.
I've seen some piggyback units on Ebay for about £100 that claim to take it from 136bhp to 160bhp but bit dubious of something like that off there.

hi all i have a 06 focus tdci which i fitted a k&n paper filter to car for aprox 4 thousand miles the car has 21000 miles and i am the only owner since new.
My problem is that oil is entering the air box and covering sensor unit, i have removed filter and cleaned +reoiled using genuine k&n cleaner has anybody had the same problem? and is there any cures for this please

I was due to have a K&N induction kit fitted and a remap to my 05 Focus 2.0tdci Zetec Climate yesterday. Unfortunately the K&N didn't arrive in time but I'd paid a deposit for the remap so I took it in. I'm well happy with the gains acheived.
Anyway the K&N arrived this morning and now a question has arose.

Will fitting the k & N now affect my remap as its being programmed to certain settings or should I still expect the standardish 4-5 bhp power gains?

Any advice appreciated.

Anyone out there tow with their C-max ?. Had any towing issues with the 2.0 TDCi ?.

Need to add a 12S socket to my 2.0TDCi (Already has 12N fitted) any advice on wiring it into the cars electrics, any nasties waiting to look out for !.
