Snapped Front Coil Spring

Hi all

Hoping you can help me again. After replacing a failed cooling fan I now have a new problem. A snapped front coil spring.

I need to buy a new pair to fit. The car is a 2009 fiesta zetec s with the 17" wheels. Now I'm guessing this will have the lower suspension. But I wanted to be sure before I buy.

I rang ford and they tapped my reg number in but couldn't tell me what specific springs I need.

So my question is as above really do you reckon I need the springs for lowered suspension. Is there any way to find out???

Less Cooling Pack???

Hi all

 

Really hoping you can help me out here.

 

Does anyone know what less cooling pack means? Im trying to replace my cooling fan as the bearing has gone but i dont really want to pay £260 that ford wants for a new one.

 

Ive found one on ebay. the number matches what is on mine but when it tells you to make sure it matches your vehicle it says it will fit a 1.6 petrol with air con less cooling pack. The number im matching it to is this: 8v51-8c607-af.

 

My car is a 2009 1.6 zetec s with manual air con.

Cooling Fan

Hi all

Has anyone else with a mk 7 fiesta had this issue. I believe the bearing in the cooling fan has given up the ghost because when it cuts in it makes a really rough sounding noise. A replacement from ford is 237 quid plus vat. Just wondered if anyone else has had this.
