Yes I know someone who did it, from what I know involved cutting and splicing some wires though.

#385453 Thinking Of Buying A Fiesta St

Posted by iNath on 13 July 2014 - 09:06 AM

4 miles each work to the train station each day gets me 30mpg. On a motorway run I've had 42.
The care kit is a rip off and they don't even make mud flaps for the ST so shows how little your dealer knows!

#377960 Temperature Gauge On The Mk7 Fiesta

I think you've got your > and < mixed up.
The facelift (late 2012) onwards does show engine temp on the display but pre-facelift (2008-2012) does not.

#377192 Ford Fiesta 2010/11 Audio Unit Options

Posted by iNath on 22 June 2014 - 04:33 PM

The stereo options are:

  • Basic 6 button stereo with aux input
  • 9 button stereo with aux, Bluetooth and sometimes USB
  • Sony with aux, Bluetooth & not 100% but I think most/all will be with USB

USB usually means 6 speakers as opposed to 4 and the ability to stream audio over Bluetooth from your phone.

Is it difficult to remove the headlight to get to the switch?

Easy peasy, I usually do it during the crossing on the Eurotunnel :)

My Fiesta is a Titanium and I'm pretty sure they're not projector headlights.  I've not seen any switches on the back of the headlight housings.

They will be projectors.

If you remove the headlight from your car (passenger side) and flip the switch which is next to the dipped beam bulb (highlighted in green) it will adjust the beam pattern

You only really need to adjust the passenger one as that stops you blinding drivers on the other side of the road. If you adjust the drivers one you'll be lighting up the path/side of the road [when driving on other side]

This is my simple diagram showing beam pattern on left-hand drive Vs right-hand drive.

Can anybody tell me exactly where to place the headlamp beam converters (AA/Eurolites) on a 2011 Fiesta.  The supposedly simple instructions aren't particularly clear about where exactly they should be placed.  It looks as if you just need to use the circular section of the converter, but really not quite sure where exactly on the glass they need to be placed.  If anybody has a photo of their placement that would be great.

You don't need to buy them. If you have the projector headlights (as oppose to the reflector ones fitted in base models style, studio etc) there is a little switch inside that changes the beam pattern.
