It's not too bad a job. I had to remove the cup holder/gearstick gaiter, front dash panel as described in the YouTube clip only recently just to replace the bulb in the cig lighter socket!!!!!

Me too... Broke the central studs/fixings .... Seems impossible to get out without inadvertently doing so. Went back in and is secure with no rattles so all ok

Actually now I look a little closer this states H8 for front fogs. This is a late 2010 guide so might depend on the year of your car!!!!

H11 for front fogs. w5w for side lights. H7 for dipped beam. H1 for main beam. Should all be in your manual.
See page 71 here for bulb specs:

In Topic: Mooing

09 January 2015 - 11:13 PM

I've just seen that same video on YouTube and that noise coming from the mondeo is EXACTLY the same as the one from my old skoda!
Btw the vw/skoda/Audi/seat group has such a good reputation but my old Octavia was nothing but trouble. 2008 1.9 tdi which I had from 55k to 95k. The air con would empty itself every 4-6 months. I refilled it 4 times in 2 years of ownership. No one could ever find a leak even with dye added to system. Front suspension always knocked as front drop links seemed to be made out of paper mâché... I renewed them 3 times...Add to that the "mooing" which cost £150 to fix but returned after a year, as well as headlight bulbs that blew every few months I was glad to get rid!
