I recently joined your club and bought a ford fiesta 1.4 tdci 2007.
I have noticed that the engine is shaking around 1000-1500 rpms. I suspected an injector is at fault. I did a comp reading and it showed that there was something wrong with the second injector. I did a Diesel purge with liqui moly additive, but there was no improvement. There are no other symptoms other than the shaking. No power loss, no smoke no nothing. A few days ago I did another reading and now it gives me these errors: p0262, p0266, p0269 which mean Cylinder Contribution/Balance Fault in three injectors. I don't know what seems to be the problem. How can another two injectors go bad in just couple of days. Anyway after reading alot about the problem with the injector seals, I thought I'd give a try and change the seals, the 4 plastic spacers or brushes or whatever their name is (even though there is no smell of diesel in the cabin nor smoke from the exhaust). I just don't know the torque setting for the injectors, can anyone help me out ?
Or any other Idea on what I should do ?
Any help would be much appreciated. thank you.
