HELP changing the cd player in a mk 6 fiesta

i baught a mk 6 fiesta and already had a flip up dvd player to put in it but the ford cd player comes in 3 parts too small to fit a normal cd player in it i realy need to change it as i want to instal a large amount of ice but can it be done and if so how cheers
