Fiesta Mk7 'petrol Filler Flap' Issue

Hi

 

I know that this is not an new issue but the petrol flap on my 2010 Fiesta Mk7 is becoming really hard to open now.  Sometimes I can be at a petrol station trying to open it for around 5 minutes or so and it's becoming really annoying.  Is there a 'fix' available for this problem yet?

 

I saw a 2013 Fiesta today and they now come with a new petrol flap which has an opening at one side of the flap and you can get a finder in there to help pull it open.

Fiesta Mk7 'latest Usb Software Update'

Hi

Just been checking the Ford website for updates on the software for Fiesta Mk7 and there is one for 'November 2012'.  Is this correct?

The reason i ask is because after downloading and extracting it, I could not see two English (EN) files to add to my USB stick.

Hi

I have a query with regard to the iPhone 5 when being used as a 'satnav' with TomTom software.

Since upgrading to the latest (from around May 2012) system software, I was able to launch the TomTom software on the iPhone and choose AUX and the voice instructions would be fed through the car speakers but, yesterday when I tried it, the music on my iPhone started playing as soon as I chose AUX and I could not hear the satnav voice.

Is there anyway to stop the music from starting when I am using the iPhone as a satnav?

Also, is there a newer USB software update available?

Fiesta Mk7 'bluetooth Handsfree' And Mode Button Problem

The 'mode button' on the left stalk of my car has always worked faultlessly whenever I used it to make a handsfree call or answer an incoming call but this afternoon when I was on the way home from work, I had a call come in and I pressed the mode button once but, instead of answering the call, the system went into the making a call mode? I.e. When you need to say "Phone" etc.

A few months ago I updated to the latest software and up until now, my previous iPhone 4 with iOS6 was working fine and the mode button was working as it should do so, I don't understand why this is happening now.

I've recently updated to the iPhone 5 and successfully paired it to my car and I've been able to make calls from the car using the mode button but as stated, the mode button does not now answer the call.

Any help would be appreciated.
