Hi
Thanks for the response. Things have improved considerably since Ford replaced the LSD in the rear, I can actually get drive to 3 wheels when off road now.

Thanks for that. Ford are advising me that the Ranger front diff is neither an LSD or locker therefore when in 4x4 mode with a conventional open diff you will only ever get drive to one of the front wheels (as per a conventional rwd car with an open diff - only one wheel spins) This is how Ford are explaining it to me.

I've got about 2inchs of play in my 04 thunder is there any way I can adjust it or do I have to buy a new Steering box
Had mine replaced under warranty and asked the Ford dealer if the box can be adjusted. They advised that the lock nut and adjuster is for initial set up of the steering box and not really for adjustment. Despite this another forum member has adjusted the box himself and has reported a good result, see other posting relating to steering play.

#I have the Dueller 265/70R15 on my mk2 Ranger, what pressure should we be keeping our tyres at for tarmac roads (I don't ever do any off-roading)?
30 PSI front/rear (increase the rear by 4 PSI when fully loaded)
