I'm not normally a fan of white wheels either but you have a good colour scheme going on, this really works!
The street pack design helps a lot, its now got a good stance :D

#368651 Black Panther Or Deep Impact Blue

Posted by Loz Cheung on 27 May 2014 - 09:23 PM

Lol, I'm for the blue!
I'm generally not a fan of black though - I think it hides the design features. My opinion though, and looks are always subjective !
Its a good colour to offset the chrome and looks badass if you keep with the theme as per anya00tans!

Think the blue is more special though :D

Are both colour cars the same engine/spec otherwise?

#347645 Ordering An St-3, Questions

Posted by Loz Cheung on 26 March 2014 - 07:15 PM

Haha, I love it how these threads always turn into a battle between the ST fraternity and the ZS fraternity!  Makes me giggle every time!  Why can't people just have mutual respect for fellow Fiesta owners?

There are SOME ZS owners who underestimate how fast the ST actually is.  However, with comments like these, it does make me wonder whether SOME ST owners think their car is the best/fastest car on the planet?!...

Wes - Whilst there may be some who don't, I think you'll find most ZS owners actually do know just what a "power house" (your term, not mine!) the ST is!... However, "better all round" is very subjective, and statements like this are where a lot of the disagreements stem from! - It shows a total lack of appreciation for why other people choose a particular car/model.

Matt, be careful what you wish for, because whilst you may be able to "show up" a few ZS drivers, there are MANY cars out there that will "show up" your ST (and I am in the very fortunate position to own a few myself - but you won't find me bragging about them on here!), so be careful about your own bragging!

Get a little bit of perspective people - The ST is faster than the ZS.  Fact.

The fiesta does tend to appeal to younger people, so to many the ST is by far the fastest car they have ever driven (and in some cases may well be the fastest car they ever will drive).  But, at the end of the day it is just a hot hatch, and there are many much faster cars out there, so don't get carried away!

To avoid any confusion, I myself have a ZS on order, but I do think that the ST is a fantastic car in it's own right.  I test drove the ST, and loved the power delivery.  Some people consider a car that is faster than another to be "better".  Other people don't and they choose a car for many other reasons.  Simple as that.

I think the ST is an absolutely fantastic car, and one would probably find it's way into my money-no-object dream garage (although not in the top 10!... Yes, I have a VERY large dream garage!).

Respect to anyone who has an ST.  Also, respect to anyone who has any other model in the Fiesta range.  Peace!

can we have this post at the top of the Fiesta forum page please...?

on a banner.

#347376 What Can I Change On My Standard Fiesta St2?

Posted by Loz Cheung on 25 March 2014 - 09:26 PM

damn straight! worth keeping as it is, its a nice colour to start with anyway - its not like you wanted brown or orange and then got given rust.

need more pics in the light please! looks good on the other fords in general, it should be ace in ST form!

#345856 Show Us Your Fords Nw

Posted by Loz Cheung on 22 March 2014 - 02:33 PM

Oh yeah! I used to deal with the Polar Ford down Stockport - their front desk people werent too great for service!

Man, around June time when i picked mine up last year there were none available for test drives! i dont think they anticipated the demand to be so high compared to the Focus ST. I had to order blind 3 months beforehand

Got these in my gallery at the mo:

the brake light is definitely an improvement and i agree - that final rear view manages to fully show the effect of those spacers!

Nothing to do with the spacers themselves or your photography skills in the other pics, its just that how cameras can make things look 2D most times   :)

Coming along nicely  B)
