It's pretty easy doesn't take much to bleed because your only getting the fluid through the caliper.

I had a mate round when I was doing mine so just got him to pump the brake pedal while I bled at the bleed nipple.

You can get bleed kits off eBay that allows you to do it by yourself if you struggle to find someone at the time of fitting.

Nice looking St you've got there mate loving the colour. Them calipers look like they've been painted well and a good choice on colour too.

I've just done the St brake upgrade on mine and can't believe how much of a difference it makes.

Bought these off eBay the other day can't wait to get them fitted and hopefully feel the difference.

Focus st225 calipers discs and pads.

Always felt that the standard mondeo brakes feel abit lacking.

Gonna get them cleaned up over the next week and I think I'm gonna paint them red, should hopefully look good behind the black wheels.

#469816 Mk Ii Mondeo (W Reg) Trickling Water Noise

Posted by Ben87 on 25 March 2015 - 10:48 PM

Not a hundred percent sure if it is this but I have heard someone that had the same problem a sloshing water noise when driving a setting off and it turned out to be trapped water in the sills!

Think they took a bung out or drilled a hole into the sill and a couple of litres of water came out.

Thought I'd put a little update on as with a job change last November I've not spent as much time as I've wanted too on my car.

New plans for the front of the car is bottom of bumper under lower grille to be painted black along with the headlight washer covers. The upper grille and surround are currently being done by me and a mate so hopefully a couple of more coats of primer and black and they should be good to go.

Nearly had a set of black headlights done ready to be built back up but one unfortunately got damaged so on the look out for another drivers headlight to redo.

Was looking to upgrade to 330mm Brembo brakes conversion on the front but found the seller to be very unhelpful and very short in his replys so decided not to buy off him.

#421833 Clutch Knocking

Sounds like it could be a worn clutch cylinder bearing or more likely if it has one fitted a worn dual mass flywheel.

Cheers for the comments Gforce :-)

It's like your reading my mind lol got a set of headlights sat here stripped down ready for being painted black just not sure which chrome indicator bulbs I need for the clear look?? Any help would be appreciated.

Going be spraying the grilles and surrounds black too hopefully in the the next month. I have been thinking about painting that bottom lip black and now you've mentioned it I'm gonna get it done ;-). Think it should look pretty good.

Haven't got a link because I bought them when I first got the car but luckily I've found the receipt. They were off ebay, the make is AutoArt, part number FO-319. The seller was called Subzero Automotive.

Hope this helps mate.

I apologise for the bad use of gear oil tubs it was the only things I could find at the time to prop it up with lol.

Will hopefully get it fitted next Saturday when I'm off work.
