Cigarette Lighter - Power
27 November 2011 - 06:09 PM
Hi, I just wondered if anyone else had had this issue?
I have a 2011 Zetec and use the cig lighter to power my sat nav... Recently, my old one broke, the bit that goes into the socket came to bits.. to be honest it was such an old sat nav that I thought no more of it. Then I bought a new one. Just used it for the first time today and realised it wasnt powering my sat nav... I had a feel around within the socket and a bit came away, but whether that is from my old broken one or the fitting of the actual socket, I am not sure. So.. I cant imagine it is the new sat nav as it seems to be a standard power fitting.... so presume it is either something is stuck from old sat nav or the actual socket is faulty?

Ford Servicing Plan And Extended Assistance
06 September 2011 - 09:22 AM
Hi, just looked on the Ford website and they have a servicing plan which I think included the extended assistance in case of breakdown
has anyone taken this up? I wasnt sure if it was a good price or not - they had a 2 year or 3 year plan with 3 years being £695
or anyone got other plans that other companies do, which are cheaper?
thanks
