as above, on a 2002 Fiesta, older style, just changed the thermostat & coolant.
does it sound as if it's blocked with sludge/crap etc?
as looking into the thermostat housing & block, it was very clean
i did put a hose into the thermostat housing and water came out of the small drain plug on the radiator and it flowed with clean water, then i did the same into the top radiator hose fitting, clean water as well.
Looks like my partners 2002 fiesta flight (old Style) drive belt is starting to go, it's starting to crack long ways as well as across the belt. it's on the left side of the engine, when looking at it from the front.
I've seen belts on carparts4less bit theres a couple of different ones, also the car doesn't have A/C
can anybody point me in the right direction of the correct belt
I got my car MOT's on Monday, they had to top it up with oil to do the emissions test, i had ordered everything to change it this week anyway!, but
I'm out driving down the motorway, i'm about 30 miles into my trip and sitting at about 72mph, and all of a sudden it's like the car misfires and you feel it pulling up for a second then goes back to normal, this happened a few times within a minute
i stopped, opened the bonnet, didn't see anything, even though i didn't know what to look at lol
i started my journey again it did it again a couple of times at about 60mph
I kept going and never felt it again, never felt anything on my homeward journey
