Mk6 Owners Help

07 March 2012 - 09:17 AM

mk6 as i understand use H4 (dual filament) headlamp bulbs

question I have is simple

when you flash your high beams, and thus the high beam filament, does the normal beam filament stay on during (i.e. are they both on at the same time)?

New Eco Info On Centre Display

29 February 2012 - 10:21 AM

Just noticed this from Ford's Fiesta page

A smart info system to help you drive more efficiently

The innovative Ford Eco Mode system continually assesses the effects of your driving behaviour on your fuel consumption. It reads your speed, gear shifting, braking and anticipation levels, plus the proportion of short to long trips. Its smart software then advises you on how to improve your fuel economy, according to your unique driving style.

Includes a nice message telling you you're an economical driver

Question is - can it be "enabled" retrospectively on older Mk7s...

What do we make of this / any thoughts?

Focus Help From A Fiesta Driver

20 February 2012 - 05:09 PM

Wondering if anyone can please settle an "argument" at work:

Was the Focus Sport trim (NOT Zetec S, just "Sport") available in Mk2 pre-facelift, post-facelift or both?

I'm pretty sure its not avail in the Mk3 (2011 Onward) but any confirmation would help there too...

Also when was the mk2 facelift exactly i.e. from build date XYZ?

does anyone on here have one? does it work with the bluetooth audio?

does it display the song data on the screen / have controls? the ford connectivity website doesnt give much useful info - after all, it says there is only minor incompatibility with my current google nexus one but i know that you cant get any text on the display.

Sux To Be Orcomma

30 December 2011 - 09:48 PM

steamed up passenger window + wet road + low lighting + high kerb = boink to the left hand side skirt.

no visible damage, but on the way home the end cap has managed to fall off somewhere (could be anywhere over a 15 mile distance of various roads).

end cap i understand is only available with a new skirt.
