Painting Wing Mirrows

Hi, I've just joined so i apoligize in advance if there is already a simalar topic. I am looking at getting my wing mirrors sprayed black, just the painted part not all of it, i've found some covers on ebay and was wondering if i get these sprayed is it as easy as replacing my origanal white ones with the black?
