I had the same problem even after I had both seals replaced under warranty. I cleaned old glue residue  off with Evo-Stick Adhesive Cleaner then restuck using 12mm Double Sided Foam Tape. Been on now for for nearly 2 years and still holding.

As far as i'm aware once inside a Keyless they can plug into the OBD port and reprogram etc. There's been plenty on here about this and on the TV as well.

Hi Guys. Couple days ago i received the following email from another forum.

"We've received information at work that thefts to fords are being carried out by people who are using

"skeleton keys" basically a key that fits all makes and models. Regardless of age or security features

cars can be accessed with this key and either have things stolen from them or the car stolen

altogether. There's been a lot going on around Essex but it's just
started happening up Durham."

Steering wheel lock maybe the only way to stop the scum.

I always tell them not to wash my car. If i drop the sponge on the floor it goes in the washing machine. If there sponge monkey drops his, I suspect it goes in the bucket then back on the car, grit as well. Lovely.

#219991 Tip: How To Reset The Seatbelt Warning Alarm/light

Posted by Mordey on 06 December 2012 - 07:38 PM

I have a Zetec S TDCI 2010, There is no noise if i try driving without my seatbelt on. Should there be!?

If the previous owner has turned the chimes off using the method in post 5 of my last thread i believe doing it again will turn them back on.

Let us know how you get on.

Doing this will disable the warning chimes completely. ie. it won't sound even when belt is unbuckled while your driving.
