Hi guys, currently residing in the fiesta section. But spotted a 2.2 mondeo tit x on the auto trader today, was tempted to go and have a peek. Anyone know anything about these, especially the engine area, known problems etc etc, any help would be appreciated.

Blowers, Or Lack Of ???

03 November 2014 - 11:09 PM

Hey guys, got in the car tonight. Windscreen was misted up, so I pressed the MAX screen button, and started on my journey. ... but by the time I arrived home the screen was still partially misted. So I put my hand in front of the vent on top of the dash and there was NOTHING coming out. Heaters were blowing like mad, but no blast coming through the vent ? Anyone shed any light on this. Its a titanium model with the auto controls if that helps. Cheers, Mike.

Hi, has anyone fitted one of these on the fiesta diesel mk7 ? I fitted one on my previous car (focus 1.8tdci) without issue's, but wondering if this will constantly trigger the EML on the fiesta, or in fact be totally fine. Any comments welcome

Mk7 Remap

23 August 2014 - 11:46 PM

Sorry if this has been covered before,,,, but a friend of mine has his own established remap company,,, ( he mapped my previous car, focus 1.8tdci ) and has offered to map my fiesta 1.6tdci for £135, offering and additional 25bhp. Just wanting to hear from members who have had it done, and wondering if there are any potential problems etc,,,, he mentioned that normally a diesel car would expect 30 bhp but the map for the mk7 fiesta is slightly less because it has a weak clutch ? I personally think an extra 25bhp would be very noticeable, especially in a car so small,,,, come on ppl, give me your experiences.......

Drl Project !!!

Ok, so I've been pondering the idea for a while now, and had decided I would try them in the lower grille, but upon trying them, I didn't think they looked right, too close together, and to low.

So I took a bit of a drastic approach and decided ''no guts, no glory'' got the masking tape out, made a template of the lights profile, then got the trusty old dremel out, and set to work butchering my bumper haha . After a while, the holes were cut, and ready to take the lights, test fit was a success first time.

So I then set about fitting the DRL relay, wanted this done right. So opted for one that put the lights on when engine is started, and dimmed to 30% brightness when the main lights come on. They even stay on for around 20 seconds when I get out of the car, Nice little touch I thought. Anyway, thats enough going on, what do you guys think ??? I'm pleased with the results.......
