Mine has an annoying rattle in the back somewhere, sounds like something is loose in the boot but it's completely empty.
Also, there's a silly problem (feature?) with the auto : switch off the ignition while still in D, turn the key to position II, select P and remove the key - the stereo stays on.

Looks good, could we have a pic from the rear seats and a close up of how it fits to the rear cup holder/centre console ...just next time you have your camera out
cheers
There's some close-ups of the armrest on Amazon - looks like it attaches to the floor not to the cup holder which is different to the US version...

I'm not keen on the metal frame and the cushion top doesn't match the fabric in my car ... possibly I'm being too fussy but for £99 I'd expect something that looks like it's part of the car.

I have a 1.4 auto. Petrol consumption is a bit of a let down, official MPG is 42 but the best I've got out of it so far is 33 - one reason why I chose the Fiesta was to hopefully save a bit of money on fuel but unfortunately that hasn't happened. The auto gearbox is okay but not as good as other autos I've owned (possibly due to it being a smaller engine and only 4 gears).

Powertrain warning - the car has gone into safe mode because it thinks something has gone horribly wrong. Visit a garage asap.
In Topic: Cruise Control Not Working As Expected?
27 June 2011 - 09:11 AM
I see, it sounds like all is well then, thanks guys. I did check the manual but all it has is a couple of pictures, not really any description of how to operate it.
by the way, something I've wondered about with the cruise control on a manual box. My Fiesta is an automatic so if I'm doing 70 on the motorway and I'm on a bit of an incline (Windy Hill on the M62 for example) then the car will drop down a gear and give it a bit of oomph to get it to the top of the hill - how does this work on a manual? Does the car just struggle in the current gear or does it warn you somehow or does it disengage the cruise control? (none sound ideal)
