Help With A New Radio

I have a focus mk 1.5 I think , 2003

I want to upgrade my radio, was thinking of just putting a normal one in but didn't want to loose my steering controls !

Im looking at getting another ford one but later model, just want to know if any will work with in reason from a ford

if I want aux out on this I need some dear adaptor about £40 so may as well upgrade to something like one of these below...

6000 Cd Radio -Trying To Get 3.5Mm Input

Hello,
I have a 6000 cd radio (says cd changer compatable) and i belive its possible to get 3.5mm out through aux ?
The green connector on back is the aux input ?

Only thing that confuses me is it says "To Access the new AUX feature you will need to press the CDC button"

I cant find a CDC button !!!

Also is there any thing special in that box for £45 ?
Can i not just make a lead from 3.5mm and solder wire to pins or use connectors?

Will I Keep My Mileage If I Replace Dashboard?

My instrument cluster digital display is loosing its digits that make up the numbers and the reset button doesnt work.
and it doesnt clock any miles on the mileage trip count (the cars mileage is ok and adds up)

Can i just buy another instrument cluster from same year car, will it show my current correct mileage or will it show the mileage from the car the old instrument cluster is from (ie car from scrapyard)

Dont know if my cars mileage is stored on the instrument cluster its self or somewhere else on the car ?

Replacement Instrument Cluster

Can I Run My Focus 2003 1.8 Tddi On Biodeisel ?

Hello everyone !

I have a Focus 2003 1.8 tddi and wondered if i can run it on biodiesel as i have a biodiesel branch nearby ?

If i can is there anything i need to do ? ie start off using 10%,20% mix and blend it in slowly or can i fill up with 50 or 100 % biodiesel straighaway?

And i believe you have to change the fuel filter regulary - how often ?
