Hi all,

What's your opinions on mudflaps? The reason I'm asking is because I've been toying it over for so long, and I've found a genuine Ford set (four corners) on eBay nice and cheap!

I've also just discovered a chip and scratch in the paint on the drivers door - I knew I heard what sounded like a stone chip last night but with it being dark I wasn't able to see until daylight. Looks like more than s stone chip though, probably a rock or something.

I have a 5 door Fiesta, I noticed there's some little holes drilled into the sills/inside the arches I'm presuming this is where they would mount to? Also, if anyone can show me a picture if they have them fitted to their car - I just want to see what they would look like before I buy some!

Hello all I haven't been on for a while so please excuse me if it seems I'm just coming back for help!

There's a little problem with my car, over the last few days I've noticed she seems a little slow to crank over. The car starts fine and idles as normal, no issues on starter motor jamming etc.

The car is fine once it's been run up to temperature and I can shut it off and restart the engine with no issues and it starts as normal again.

I've had a multimeter out today and measured my voltages from my battery with someone cranking the engine.

Engine off: around 12v
Engine cranking: around 8v
Engine idling: around 14.4v

So there doesn't seem to be any issue with the volts the battery is putting out? I lost my trip counter this morning when starting it first time and it's reset back to zero, and was slow to crank over - surely there's a problem here but I'm having trouble finding out where it is lying?

Anyone with a similar experience or is there anything I have missed? I'm not working right now and money is an issue, I can't afford to dilly dally around replacing parts which might be working fine

Hey everyone I had the MOT on my Fiesta today and it passed without any major issues. It only cost me the price of the MOT test, so am well happy at not having to lay out any money!

I did have a few advisories, and one of these is wear to my front wishbone bushes. The MOT tester said it's a very common problem on all of these Fiesta's? Being an advisory is a bonus because the car is fine at the moment, and at least it gives me a litte bit of time to save some money together.

I've had a look on eBay for a set and found some for £40 with free P&P, which isn't too bad. But, what I'm trying to decide is whether I should spend a little more and go for geniune items? Is the quality going to be that different? I don't want to end up doing the job again in a few months if I fit poor quality parts... lol

What's your experiences? Is it worth spending the money and getting genuine items? Or can I get away with being a tight *** and saving as much as possible

Hi everyone . Can anyone help me in finding this website in mobile view website for browsing on a phone? I don't have regular access to a computer and tend to browse the web a lot on my phone. My iPhone used to automatically switch to the mobile website view but my new phone (BlackBerry) wants to load the full page. It still works but on a phone the mobile view is better suited to the screen size.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

Hey all,

Noticed there's a slight exhaust blow on my Fiesta. I think it's the rear silencer but not entirely sure.

Is it possible to replace my exhaust in sections? If it's the silencer I'd rather just replace this part. If not, how hard is it to replace the whole exhaust from cat back? I've had a look on eBay and I can grab a whole kit from the cat back for like £100 which seems a fair price...

I need to do my tyres too - bloomin' cars lol.
