It is common . It can happen with big wheel low profile tyre set up on any car .there are lots of these wheels about in breakers I've seen then go pretty cheap second hand

Also do it.... You can put a different engine in it in the future or just keep that one ... I had a mk3 1.1 back in the day that made RSturbos look naff so go for it ...:)

The speedo will be fine because there are lower profile tyres on the 17s....

Thanks ,Helped me a bit to do mine ... Took me 30min with the advise,so I'm happy with that :) feels great ... I'm now getting used to going lower with my hand to change gears ... Whoop whooop

the mountune cat back exhaust is the only mod that I could do with ford insure so im parting ways with them at the end of this month- decided to go for the AEM cold air induction kit...sooo nice!! :-) going to take the car to mountune to have it 155'd next month... Very exited ..thanks for all your answers - fords forever! :0)
