i would think it might be worth having a look at the alarm module, iirc its under the passenger front wheel arch,

the mk1 problem steff is on about wouldve been the rear washer pipe that runs under the front passenger carpet which just happens to have a join in it directly above the ecu/alarm/central locking module which is under the passenger front seat.the mk2 galaxy it was moved up under the dash board.

#432519 I Took Allen Ford Coventry To Court And Won!

Posted by gregers on 28 November 2014 - 07:34 PM

i threatened a vauxhall dealer ship with the small claims court over a 2nd hand ford galaxy i had bought, silly buggers should have listened to me from the outset but the 2nd hand car manger thought he knew everything and was playing hardball, the salesman bless him had his hands tied and saw it was going to get messy.

and it almost did when i had a stand up argument in the main dealer ship with the dealer principle in front of LOTS OF CUSTOMERS.

thing is if they had listened to me it wouldve cost them no more then a couple of hundred quid,BUT OH NO.

cost em nearly 3k to sort out all the mess.

if you know your rights and have info from the likes of forums like these, and have a back bone then why wouldnt you get what you are entitled too?

#418666 Gas Hob Question...

Posted by gregers on 12 October 2014 - 06:02 PM

the valve sometimes lets go.

if you ever suspect it happening then give it a spray with some soapy liquid,if you see any bubbles then its leaking

and it will require just a nip up with a pair of grips.

im not 'gassafe' but had this happen to my cooker once had had a gas engineer explain this to me when he carried out repairs.

we used to have a get together after pubbing and clubbing get a takeaway and play football.

many a time the 'ole fuzz' used to turn up but seeing as we didnt make too much noise they just left us alone.AND we used to bin the rubbish. oh happy days.
