#494296 Electric Window

sounds like it has detached from the clamps, this means having to take the door card off and refixing them.

worst case is that she caused the wires in the regulator to over spool on the motor?if thats the case then you will have to remove all of it and inspect the innards, you can now obtain fixing fits on ebay.

pains me to recommend this but take a look at the ryobi range of tools very versatile and on the cheap end of trade,

as im a chippy by trade so have a lot of bosch blue which are like most trade products expensive but you do get what you pay for quality and longevity,

dewalt now are no way as good as they used to be a few years ago,as advice above about the lithium range of batteries compared to the others you have had,the lions do not have a memory in them so you can put them on charge anytime you require a top up without damaging the batteries.

if you fancy a punt with your price range take a look on ebay and perhaps by a trade drill for that money, you will notice the difference.

so it wont open using the release button on the remote?

1st check the wires in the gaitor to the top left with the hatch open these power the rear door switch.

i too had a similar problem and stripped everything and it turned out the wires in the gaitor had snapped, wish i had checked this 1st as it took me an age to remove all the trim. :o

you wouldnt think that the smax/galaxy mk3s would suffer the same !Removed! problem that the galaxy mk1 and 2s suffer from but IT DOES.
