look on ebay/amazon for a bluetooth obd2 scanner - under £10. then dowload the torque app and use that to scan and delete codes.
What Simon is selling is a much better product and will give you a lot more options. My option is basic but is enough for me.

was it a CREE bulb by any chance? they are really bright.
with the bulbs blowing, sadly its a case of UPTO x amount of months, you dont get a guarantee
