I did this last year with my car just before the winter and am glad I did, I also painted all the axle parts, wheel drums, callipers, ect with Hammerite Black and after I got the winter over I just power washed for MOT In march time and the MOT guy thought the car was like new underneath. I was very Pleased indeed lol!
Its something I have been meaning to do with all cars I have owned but never got the time to be honest so glad I have it done with the focus. So to sum up I use waxoyl underseal under car and then paint up any axle parts ect with Hammerite black.
Happy Man lol!
Sonic, why dont you post some pics of the underside for everyone to admire
looks like the manager ballsed up and needed someone to blame and rant at which sadly was you. if your not happy about being spoken to like that then speak to your HR department as it is classed as bullying/harassment.
110 bhp turbo thats a hybrid? interesting. i was tempted to get a 115bhp turbo and have that made into a hybrid by tdi turbo's but decided against it as i think id rather get another car...like a 2.0 tdci or even a 3 series beemer
For tge aerial converter you need a power feed which can be taken from the interior light.
If you get the correct loom and patch lead then the stereo functions on the steering wheel will work.
Fitting the stereo i would remove the r/h centre vent to give you access to move the cables out of the way when sliding the stereo in.
i purchased an RS Parts splitter and didnt like the way it held water on the lip if it rained or was washed. I then purchased another one (got it cheap) and decided to modify it...The Escort Cossie being my choice of inspiration....
Lip is flat
After - lip is at an angle from front to the rear
so, what do you think?
I even thought of adding some lettering and was going to put the new Focus badge on (in black) but then decided against it.
