As Troy says washing up liquid and boiling water will work. Be careful as yours being an alloy ic i wouldnt want to use any harsh chemicals.

Use duct tape to attach new cable to old and pull it through firewall. I used the old speaker mounts too when i mounted my speakers. Saved me a few bob!

i'd use a thicker cable and use a distribution block so that you can get 2 fees from it safely. you need to have a decent cable so that the current drawn doesnt melt the cable!

i need to install 0AWG cable into my car and replace the thin 10AWG currently used to that i can run a bigger and better amp/s!

Posted by salsheikh on 10 June 2014 - 12:57 PM

i'd stick to just a nice looking car for now until your insurance comes down. then get an st170 (mk1) or an ST (mk2/2.5) and enjoy it properly.

its a very worthwhile mod to do. why the fords didnt come like this as standard is purely down to cost saving measures - IMO

Looking good Steven. What colour are the bonnet vents going to be?

Are you fitting a complete RS interior then? Guys on the ST forum say the ST seats are more comfortable than the RS ones!
