#311183 Painting Lower And Upper Grilles

Posted by salsheikh on 12 December 2013 - 01:47 PM

remove them first to make life easier!

a nice tug on the lower grill in any corner will help it come out. the top grill is a bit trickier as you have to remove the lock.

wash the grills in fairy liquid and make sure they are dry and then sand them down and wash again before attempting to paint. remove all contaminents and paint in a warn environment to help adhesion.

i think lenny/tdcist/gforce have guides on how to remove the grills.

#308236 Remove Front Bumper

Posted by salsheikh on 02 December 2013 - 08:37 PM

Im going to spray down from my lower grill to make it look like a wider grill.
Can anyone tell me how to take it off im not too sure.
Or a pdf

if your spraying your grill then just pull the grill out, start at one corner and pull it out. Lenny has made a guide on how to remove it. I sprayed my old grill and the bottom of my bumper

I want one of these in the front - the amount of learner drivers in my area that make their way onto the congested roads during peak hour, then proceeding to crawl at 5mph.

this. they shouldnt on the road during peak times until they are good enough to take their 10th test!

#304439 Retro Fitting Heated Washer Jets

Not too bothered about the rear washer. What about relays and wiring it into the fusebox or does it connect from the washer bottle onwards?
Does 30 sound decent?

if you decide not to fit a green panel filter then try a k&n like i have. its the same one for an RS/ST/TDCI! i got mine from ebay for £20...long cylindrical once. cross reference the part numbers to make sure it fits.
