I have been thinking how I can prevent any other thieving scroat just rolling under my Ranger and nicking my cat again!
I have thought about a cover/guard over it! Anyone else done this? Maybe the 4x4/off-road people do it?
Who would do such guards?
(I prefer the idea of a plate/guard rather than one of those s/s wire locks)

Keep An Eye On Your Cat Chaps!
16 January 2012 - 08:22 PM
Some thieving scumbag tosspot has nicked my cat! Apparently this happening a lot! Loads of room to just roll underneath and simply cut the pipework between the flanges! 5 minutes and job done! 3 in the Durham area, and 6 in the Castleford area recently! (Guess the dealers I have spoken to!)
The thing is - I have been quoted a massive range of prices to replace it! Dealer prices have ranged from £800+vat to a horrifying £2300+vat!
(I also have a price from an independant garage that I am going to keep t myself for fear of ridicule, and other comments such as 'you can't get them that cheap!')
So - no more parking it on my drive. I will park it on the road where everyone can see it!

07 Bumper Removal
31 December 2011 - 07:40 PM
I have been trying to get my front bumper off, without success! I have managed to get everything off, but it is still fixed at the ends, under the wings, in the back-of-the-headlight area!
I have been on for ages trying to get the thing off, but I have given up for today/this year!
There doesnt appear to be anything obvious holding it on, but there definately is - and I cant see it!
Any ideas before I break something?
(You would think that a vehicle of this size would have loads of room to work in, but no, its just as bad as my Nissan in this instance!)
