#508180 Cylinder Fuel Injector Error Question

Posted by STEADS on 02 August 2015 - 10:24 AM

I,be got a dodgy injector on my 1.8tdci and have had for the last 15000 miles get a stutter around 60 mph which I love with just drop it below or go just above it no other probs with drive or mpg so really don't think it's anything to be overly worried about could be just a case of they need recoding to the Ecu I'm one of these that if it's running fine leave it but look at it as soon as you feel a difference you know the way your car drives so will be able to tell a change in it .

Take the rear seats out so the back rest drops flat hence gaining an extra 6/8 inches easily get a fridge cooker washer in there bit of a squeeze all at once though.

#469400 Problem With Car/mechanic

Have you got the old water pump if so can you post a pic on here you will be able to tell if the damage to it is recent or old by looking at it old will be where the veins have come off wil be totally discoloured new will be all clean looking my suspicions are they have just got hold of an old water pump snapped the veins off and said there you go .
And think bout it what's in there apart from from water to snap all the veins off never come across one yet that has had one vein snapped never mind the lot .

#467698 Focus Mk2 Leaking Coolant - Possibly Found Solution

Posted by STEADS on 20 March 2015 - 12:15 PM

You don't say what focus you have mk1 /2 /2.5 will help people give advice by looking at the photo I think it might be the reverse light connection check with it off then attached usual suspects for coolant leak are water pump and thermstat housing what side of the engine is the leak from cambelt end pos water pump gearbox end pos thermostat housing front of engine on a 1.8 TDCI thermstat housing .
