Has anyone fitted after market parking sensors to a mk 4 mondeo before and is there a thread on here??...I was thinking of these http://www.ebay.co.u...d=p5197.c0.m619 just a little worried about the wiring connections,i assume they have to be wired to a reverse light? Which colour wire would that be?? Also i was thinking if i get matt black ones and mount them in the black bumper strip would that be ok??
Thanks in advance all....

Thanks For The Welcome
19 January 2012 - 02:51 PM
Hi guy`s and thanks for the warm welcome. I think i`ve managed to sort the swimming pool in the boot problem with some windscreen/glass sealent so fingers crossed.
Now my attention is turned to a few other little niggles, firstly the dashboard cupholder is broken, i have a replacement but am unsure how to fit, do i dismantle the center console/remove radio for this?
And how do i find out the correct colour/code for tough up paint? I took a pic of the vin plate on drivers door if anyone can help with that.
Also, not sure if the engine should have a cover and/or bonnet insulation.
Many thanks in advance guy`s.
Ok, hopefully here come the pic`s, let me know what you think.....

Mondeo Waterlogged??
08 January 2012 - 03:21 PM
Hi guy`s, not sure if this is in the right catagory but here goes. I noticed water in the spare wheel well (about 2" deep)of my 54 plate mondeo zetec, emptied everything out and sucked up all the water but have 2 questions for you all to ponder on.
1, Any ideas what caused the water?? checked for holes and found none and seal looks good.
2, I now need new carpet and also the hardboard panel which sits over the spare wheel well, not sure if the carpet/board comes as one piece or not and have no idea what it`s called...
Any help gratefully recieved.
