their is a list of all the major mechanicals you mentioned,  i personally would try and save it (but try and use a recommended independent garage instead of ford as it will save you a fortune)

 

it all comes in at just under £220 too which isn't bad at-all i dont think  :rolleyes:

all sorted :D ,   the collar had sheared so it's cable-tie'd into place on the bracket for now until i can get round to changing the cable's for new one's,     thanks for all the help guys,  much appreciated :rolleyes:

just had a look and the locking tab on the ends are fine but on one the piece where it attaches to the block looks to have come apart with a spring and what looks like a white collar loose causing the cable to move about.....

could this be the cause??????

no slipping and still plenty of pull in every gear that works the clutch has only done about 15k, just hoping it's something simple

they are very tight, easiest way i found was loads of wd-40 a lot of patience
