Hi  this is my first post and I'm looking for advice.  We are looking to change our car and have been looking at the mondeo titanium x sport 2ltr tdci.  The problem we are having is whether to go for  the powershift or the manual gearbox.  I have test driven the 2.2 model  with a manual gear box and the 2.0 model in the powershift gear box.  Both cars were fantastic. Like the idea of the sports mode on the powershift where it still kind of feels like a manual.

However looking for advice/help from anyone who owns either gear boxes on these cars (suppose it doesn't have to be the sport but still the titanium) .... what is better value for money on MPG? which version gives a better resale?

I suspect it will be a personal preference but we've always had manual and don't know whether to make the change to a semi automatic.  Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you
