Hi guys. I have been restoring my mk1 escort rs1600 for the past 15 or so years, on and off, and have lost the reg document and chassis plate during moving house. I know the registration number (obviously), but the dvla wont issue me a new logbook without all the details. I dont have any numbers on the shell due to extensive panel replacement and am at a loss as to what to do now that I am so close to the end of the project.
I read a post by john volts about a similar problem, but he has not been online for ages.
Can someone help? Please.
