1.9 Tdi Ghia Auto Wont Reverse When Cold

Hi.
I have an 04 plate Galaxy 1.9 TDi Auto that wont engage reverse when cold. As soon as it warms up a bit, it's fine!
I'm suspecting a sensor here but any help would be much appreciated.
