ok poss front panel gone as its plastic but gd luck

chances are the link that gose from catch to barrel could of broke,might have to make hole in grill to get to barrel as bonnet could of also kinked where it shuts into the lock.try this on fleabay item no 261214579680 i think urs is a later model

its rack out the side im affraid many years in bodyshop and nothing but mk3 mondees focus n trannys in the shop changing subframes shockers n that after sum kind person rented them n do a bit of crash barrier testing trying to squeeze between 3 lorrys i expect

engine code chbb if not mistaken the silver top like mine and chain driven to i know cause my dad helped me do alternator belt on it with over 40 years in trade to.and you can only fit silver with silver to as the black top is some what different as i was thinking of changing engines on mine as done nearly 210,000 but still gose like a train though

you will also note that silver top is alloy other i believe is plastic but you could fit silver 2ltr engine in with no probs
